What is Atlassian Artifacts?

Atlassian Artifacts is in beta. It’s available to all paid plans. The experience may change while we improve features and add new ones.

AI agents and Rovo create files for you all the time. Finding them later on can be a challenge, going back through chat history and checking your computer’s downloads folder. Atlassian Artifacts provides a central home to store all the files that AI agents create for you.

Whether you’re chatting with Rovo or another connected AI agent like Claude or Codex, any artifacts they create can be saved to your Artifacts library. You can also upload your own files to the library.

From the Artifacts library, you can view an artifact, change sharing settings, copy the Smart Link to embed in Confluence, work on further edits, and more. Your artifacts stay in your Artifacts library so you can go back to them at any time.

Artifact visibility and sharing

An artifact is private by default, keeping it secure until you choose to share it. You can share an artifact directly with colleagues or embed it into a Confluence page and Jira work item using a Smart Link.

When you share an artifact, it becomes available in Search and Teamwork Graph, feeding into your organization’s system of work.

Atlassian Artifacts availability

Atlassian Artifacts is available to all paid Atlassian accounts and functions independently of Confluence or Jira licenses. Even if you don’t use Rovo, you can still use Atlassian Artifacts to store artifacts from any other connected AI agents. This enables you to manage agentic work across all your Atlassian apps.
