Manage an artifact
Atlassian Artifacts is in beta. It’s available to all paid plans. The experience may change while we improve features and add new ones.
Atlassian Artifacts provides a central home for AI-generated work so you can discover, reuse, and secure outputs across your organization. After AI agents like Rovo, Claude, and Codex create artifacts during a conversation, you can manage these files independently to maintain version history, embed them into other Atlassian apps, or permanently remove them when they're no longer needed.
Artifacts are discoverable via Rovo Search and available as context or sources for Rovo agents to inform future work.
Perform more actions on an artifact
Each of your artitfacts contains a More actions menu, where you can find additional controls for your artifact. The menu contains options such as download, delete, and copy an artifact’s link.
To access the More actions menu:
Select the app switcher () in the top navigation bar, then select Artifacts from the list.
Locate the artifact you wish to work with.
Select the More actions () menu to see a list of options.
When you delete an artifact, it’s permanently removed and can’t be restored.
Embed an artifact into other apps
When you copy a link for an artifact, you can paste it in your Atlassian apps as a Smart Link. Being a Smart Link, you can choose to display it as a card, add it as an inline link, or fully embed it so it becomes part of your Confluence page or Jira work item. Learn about Smart Links: Use Smart Links to collaborate across apps
To embed or link to an artifact:
Follow the previous steps to get to the More actions () menu, and select Copy link.
Navigate to a Confluence page or Jira work item.
Paste the link where you want the artifact to appear, then select the link to display a toolbar.
From the dropdown menu, select Embed.
