Share an artifact

Atlassian Artifacts is in beta. It’s available to all paid plans. The experience may change while we improve features and add new ones.

By default, all your artifacts are private. You can choose to share them or to keep them private. Your options include:

  • Restricted: Only visible to you or specific colleagues (the most private)

  • Anyone with the link: Visible to anyone in your organization who has the link)

  • Open: Visible to anyone in your organization and appears in Rovo Search (the least private)

If you change your mind, you can update the privacy to your preference at any time. The artifact will adhere to new privacy setting instantly.

You can share an artifact from a variety of places, such as within Rovo when it creates the artifact for you, and while you’re viewing an artifact.

To share an artifact from your Atlassian Artifacts library:

  1. Select the app switcher () in the top navigation bar, then select Artifacts from the list.

  2. For the artifact you wish to share, select Share ().

  3. From the options available, select your preferred level of sharing.

  4. Watch for the message that confirms your changes, and if necessary select Share.

  5. Close the dialog box when you’re happy with the sharing you’ve set.

Look for sharing options when you’re viewing an artifact or when working with it in Rovo Chat.
