Share your recording
When you're getting started with Loom, the easiest way to share your Loom recording is by using the Copy Link features.
You can share your video using these methods:
Copy link
Share with workspace members
Share via email
Share to a Space
Share on social
Embed
Share with a message
Share your video at a specific time

Copy and paste the video link anywhere
You can select your link settings to grant access to anyone with the link, only Workspace members/People in Company or specific people added. Anyone with access will be able to view and discover your video in Atlassian search.
Note that we will never index your videos on Google or any search outside of Atlassian, regardless of privacy setting.

Share with workspace members
Grant access to members in your workspace by adding their email addresses. They'll be required to log in to view the loom. You can select view or edit access if the user is a member of your Workspace and add a message. The email sent will include a thumbnail of your loom.
You can also use share videos with people outside your workspace as long as they belong to the same domain registered in your workspace. Note that only custom domains are supported.
Share to a Space
Share to a Space to create a dedicated area to organize and find videos related to a project, team, or topic (e.g. town hall recordings, training videos, and product demos).
Share to Social
Under the Social tab you can share using LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, or Gmail.
Embed
Under the Embed tab, you can embed using a responsive or fixed size.
Privacy settings will still be enforced when embedding a video. If your video is set as "workspace restricted" or "only added people can access" Loom will not be able to verify the viewer's identity so they will be presented with the following message:
Share your video with a message
Creators or Admins under a Business+ AI plan can use Auto Composer to generate a message tailored to the format and tone of Slack or Email for any Loom recorded with a transcript.
Share your video at a specific time
You have the option to share your video a specific timestamp. To do this, scrub to the timestamp you want to share your video at, then select Share. From there you should see an checkbox to Share out XX:XX , check that box off. Then copy the link and thats it.
Can I add an extra layer of security to my videos?
Yes, you have a few different options to ensure your video is private.
Add a password to your video. For Loom Education, Business, Business + AI and Enterprise users only.
Set your workspace default privacy settings to only members in your Workspace can view. For Loom Business, Business+ AI and Enterprise users only.
You can share your recording with specific people, allowing only people who have been invited to view your video.
You can set your recording to restricted and share it with specific people, allowing only those people to view and search for your video.
