Use Loom with Jira and Confluence

Loom integrations are exclusive to Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud. The integrations listed below are not supported for Atlassian Data customers. This also includes Rovo. Loom videos will not be accessible in Rovo searches for Data customers.

Record and share Looms directly in Confluence and Jira

Confluence

Record and share Loom directly into Confluence pages, live docs, blogs, and whiteboards. See full list of Loom entry points in Confluence here.

Jira

Record and share Loom directly into Jira issues, updates, descriptions, and comments. See full list of Loom entry points in Jira here.

Loom entry points are not available in Jira Service Management.

In order to record within Jira or Confluence you must have the Loom app provisioned for your Atlassian site and been given app access.

Loom video permissions

The Loom videos you record within Confluence or Jira will be stored in your Loom library and adhere to the default permissions of your workspace (typically allowing anyone in your workspace to view).

You can modify the privacy settings for each Loom video you create.

Convert meeting recordings into Confluence meeting notes

  • Must have AI enabled on an Loom Enterprise or Business+ AI plan and a Confluence subscription enabled.

  • Loom account linked must be to an Atlassian account.

If you have Loom meeting recordings enabled, you can use the power of AI to convert your recordings into notes within minutes.

AI-powered meeting notes are automatically created for all Loom-recorded meetings in Confluence, streamlining your documentation process.

Transform your Loom Video into a Jira work item

  • Must have AI enabled on an Loom Enterprise or Business+ AI plan.

  • Must link to a single Jira workspace. If you are signed into multiple workspaces, then you will need to manually revoke the app in Jira and reauthorize the other workspace.
