Choose your identity provider

Multiple identity providers are only available through an early access program. If you’re not participating in the program, you can still connect to one identity provider.

If you subscribe to an Enterprise plan, you can use multiple identity providers starting June 30, 2022.

We create a separate directory for each identity provider you choose. When you add your identity provider to Atlassian, you’re ready to start configuring single sign-on or user provisioning.

To choose an identity provider:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Security > Identity providers.

  3. Select Add provider.

  4. Name your identity provider directory.

  5. Choose an identity provider that supports your setup.

Available identity providers

Check the identity provider’s documentation for an overview of how to configure the available identity providers with Atlassian:

  • Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)

  • Auth0

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory

  • Google Cloud Identity

  • Google Workspace (previously G Suite)

  • Idaptive (previously Centrify)

  • Okta

  • OneLogin

  • Ping Identity

If you use another provider, you can still set up it up through SAML single sign-on or user provisioning:
