Choose your identity provider

You can connect an identity provider and configure single sign-on for your portal-only customers (Jira Service Management) when you subscribe to Atlassian Access. Read more about connecting an identity provider to customers.

We create a separate directory for each identity provider you choose. When you add your identity provider to Atlassian, you’re ready to start configuring single sign-on or user provisioning.

Role: Organization admin
Plan: Atlassian Access

To choose an identity provider for your users:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Security > Identity providers.

  3. Choose the identity provider that supports your setup.

  4. Name your identity provider directory.

  5. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

Available identity providers

You can use the identity provider of your choice, but some capabilities are only available with selected identity providers. Learn which identity providers we support
