Add a sub-filter to a company-managed kanban board
If you are using a Kanban board, you can add a sub-filter that refines the issues returned by your board's filter. For example, you might want to display issues on your board once they’re marked as done, until those issues are released or the sprint is complete.
The sub-filter also allows you to show different data in Reports.
To add a sub-filter to your board:
Go to your board, then select More () in the top right corner. Select Configure board.
On the General page under the Filter subheading, find the section labeled Kanban board sub-filter.
Select Add sub-filter or hover over the existing query. Edit the field to create a sub-filter using Jira Query Language (JQL). Read more about JQL syntax.
Select Update to save your changes.
