Understand tree view

Tree view helps you visualize ideas as a multi-level hierarchy using existing connection fields. Instead of seeing all ideas at the same level, you can organize them into parent-child relationships across custom levels. For instance, you can see how goals, opportunities, solutions, experiments, and Atlassian projects relate to one another within an organization. This helps teams visualize how their work aligns with their company’s goals.

With tree view, you can:

• Create a hierarchy with up to 10 custom levels.

• Display different fields on cards at each level.

• Sort cards and apply different filters at each level of the hierarchy.

This feature is only available on the Jira Product Discovery Premium plan. Users on a Free or Standard plan can see a tree view on the navigation sidebar, but will need to upgrade to view or edit it.
