Prerequisites for a cloud readiness assessment
Prerequisites to assess the cloud readiness of your instance.
General requirements
You need System administrator permissions for Data Center instances
Works with any supported Jira or Confluence Data Center version
Update Jira or Confluence migration assistant
Update your Jira or Confluence migration assistant to the latest version. Some data points or functionality related to cloud readiness is available only in recent versions, that’s why we always recommend updating to the latest.
To update the migration assistants:
[管理] > [アプリを管理] > [アプリを管理] の順に移動します。
Search for Jira Cloud Migration Assistant or Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant.
Open the details, and select Update.
You don’t need to shut down your Data Center instance for this update.
Connect to your Data Center instance
Connect to your Jira or Confluence Data Center instance to start automatic data collection and upload, and get additional insights about your instance.

If you’re unable to connect to your Data Center instance in Portfolio insights, you can run the assessment in your instance and manually upload the archive with results.
