Detect other Data Center instances

Detecting Data Center instances helps you get an overview of your entire portfolio. We’ll automatically detect Data Center instances based on:

• License data: We scan your organization's license information to identify registered instances. This method requires that you have verified a domain.

• App links: We examine app links between your instances to discover connected instances.

Each detected instance will show its detection source, helping you understand how it was found.

Things you should know before you start:

• Make sure you've completed prerequisites to improve product detection

• You can detect Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Data Center. Once detected, you’ll need to go through the connection process to add them to Portfolio insights.

Review detected apps

To review detected Data Center instances.

1. Under Portfolio insights, select Detected instances.

2. Select each instance to view the following instance details:

• 一般情報 (ベース URL、製品バージョン)

• 組織の詳細

• 請求担当者と技術担当者

• Detection source

As you review the detected instances, use this information to decide whether to connect and add them to Portfolio insights.

Add detected instances to your portfolio

If a detected instance is relevant:

1. Select it from the Detected instances list.

2. Select Add to instances.

3. For Data Center instances, go through the connection process to connect to your instance. See Connect to your Data Center instance

Once added, the instance will move from Detected instances list and appear both in Cloud readiness and Instance health.
