Connect to your Data Center instance
Connect to your Data Center instances to add them to your portfolio. When you connect, we can:
Improve discovery by scanning app links
Collect data to generate cloud readiness assessment
Collect data to generate optimization insights

Make sure you’ve completed the prerequisites.
Some connections steps will differ based on the Data Center version you’re using:
For Jira Data Center 11.3 or later and Confluence 10.2 or later, you’ll use cloud connectors.
For Jira Data Center 11.2 or earlier and Confluence 10.1 or earlier, you’ll use security keys.
If you’re on newer versions and have problems connecting, see Configure cloud connectors.
Connect to an instance and add it to your portfolio
To connect to a Data Center instance:
Go to admin.atlassian.com, and select Insights > Portfolio insights.
You can connect from either page: Cloud readiness or Instance health. The connected instance will appear in both.
Select Add Data Center.
Agree to share the data used by Portfolio insights. You’ll be able to agree to what exactly is collected and shared on the Data Center side of the connection.
Add the details of the Data Center instance you’d like to connect to.
Copy the credentials and select Continue to Data Center.
Accept connection request in Data Center
1. On the Cloud connectors page in Data Center admin screen, select Review request.
2. Agree to what data we can collect from your instance and share with Portfolio insights. For more details on what data is collected, see Security and data handling.
3. On the Review connection request screen, select Accept.
Manually pasting the credentials
If you didn’t start the connection or were given the credentials by another admin, you can paste them at Administration > Applications > Linked cloud organizations to create the connection.
Connection Status

Manage connected instances
Upgrade to cloud connectors and keep Portfolio insights working
This section explains how to keep Portfolio Insights working after you upgrade from earlier versions to Jira 11.3 or later or Confluence 10.2 or later.
1. Upgrade Cloud Companion app to version 2.0.1 or higher when it’s available.
2. The security key that you used to connect to Portfolio Insights expires after 180 days. When your security key expires, do the following:
Accept the Portfolio Insights connector request in Data Center:
In your Data Center instance, go to Administration, then Application links, then Cloud connectors, and then select Review request.
On the Review connection request screen, select Accept.
Your Portfolio Insights connector continues working on the new versions using cloud connectors.

These steps are applicable for Jira Data Center 11.3 or later or Confluence 10.2 or later.
Rotate credentials
You can rotate Portfolio insights credentials when they expire or if there’s a chance that the credentials were exposed and are no longer safe.
To rotate Portfolio insights credentials:
1. クラウドの管理ハブで、[Data Management (データ管理)] > [データソース] > [接続済みソース] の順に移動します。
2. 組織コネクタを見つけて展開します。
3. Next to Portfolio insights connection, select More actions (), and then Rotate credentials.
4. Confirm your action by selecting Rotate credentials. Wait until the credential rotation takes place. The connector will change status to Connected.
Delete connector
You can delete and re-establish Portfolio insights connector as many times as you need. The connector should be in Connected status to be deleted.
To delete Portfolio insights connector from Data Center:
1. Go to your Data Center instance, go to Administration, find Application links, and then go to Cloud connectors.
2. Select More actions (), and then Delete connector.
3. Confirm your action by selecting Delete.
To delete Portfolio insights connector from cloud:
1. クラウドの管理ハブで、[Data Management (データ管理)] > [データソース] > [接続済みソース] の順に移動します。
2. 組織コネクタを見つけて展開します。
3. Next to Portfolio Insights connector select More actions (), and then Delete connector.
4. Confirm your action by selecting Delete.
コネクタがクラウドと Data Center のどちらの管理者パネルにも表示されなくなります。
