View your Rovo Dev credit usage
Rovo Dev uses Rovo Dev credits to track usage across different features. Rovo Dev credits can only be used for Rovo Dev.
Rovo Dev credits are different and separate from Rovo credits. Rovo Dev credits can only be used for Rovo Dev features like Rovo Dev CLI, or code reviews. Rovo credits are used for Rovo features like Rovo Chat, Rovo agents, and Deep Research.
Rovo Dev credit allowance
Each skill performed by Rovo Dev (like a code review on your pull request, or a request in Rovo Dev CLI) uses Rovo Dev credits from your allowance. You have a Rovo Dev credits allowance on each Jira instance where you're a member and Rovo Dev is activated.
With Rovo Dev Free, you’ll get 350 credits per user per month per Jira site where you’re a member and Rovo Dev Free is activated. When you reach your Rovo Dev credit limit, Rovo Dev will stop working until your usage resets in the next billing cycle (usually monthly).
With Rovo Dev Standard, you’ll get a credit allowance of 2,000 Rovo Dev credits per month at the Atlassian organization level. You can use those credits on any site within the organization, provided the site has Rovo Dev Standard installed. If extra usage is enabled on your organization, you can continue to use Rovo Dev even after you’ve have used up your credit allowance; any extra usage will be billed to your organization.

When you reach your Rovo Dev credit limit, Rovo Dev will stop working until your usage resets in the next billing cycle (usually monthly).
Average Rovo Dev credit usage
Your default allowance of 350 credits per site should typically cover about 2 to 8 code reviews, or 1 to 10 tasks in Rovo Dev CLI.
With Rovo Dev Standard, your allowance of 2,000 Rovo Dev credits typically covers 20 to 75 code reviews, or 5 to 50 tasks in Rovo Dev CLI.
More complex tasks require more credits.
Monitor your Rovo Dev credit usage
To see your Rovo Dev credit allowance and how much you’ve used this month:
From the app switcher (), select Rovo Dev.
In the sidebar, select Your usage.
The usage page shows your current credit usage and how close you are to reaching your limit. You can also see a breakdown of your usage by feature, and request more credits.
