Switch between large language models in Rovo Dev CLI
Rovo Dev CLI offers several different large language models (LLMs) so you can choose the right one for the work you’re doing.
To switch between LLMs, use /models in interactive mode.
Credit multipliers
Each LLM has its own Rovo Dev credit multiplier based on model complexity, speed, and reasoning depth.
See each LLM credit multiplier when you use /models.
For example, a more advanced model might have a 1.5x credit multiplier. This means it will use 50% more Rovo Dev Credits than the default LLM for the same task.
Switch between models as you work to help manage your Rovo Dev credit allowance. You can select less complex models for everyday tasks like documentation, and more advanced ones for complex code generation.
