How can Rovo agents sync conversations between Slack and JSM?

To use an agent to sync conversations between Slack and JSM, Rovo must be activated on your site and you must be using a Standard, Premium or Enterprise plan. This feature also needs to be set up and configured by an admin.

If a Rovo agent with the Raise a request skill is connected to your Slack channel, and a user sends a message about an issue they need help with - for example, they need to be granted access a specific site - the Rovo agent will ask the user if they want to create a work item in Jira Service Management (JSM).

If the user chooses to do this, a JSM work item will automatically be created by the agent. All messages sent via the Slack thread will be added as comments on the JSM work item, and vice versa - however, please note that once the work item has been created, the agent will stop responding on Slack.
