Atlassian Home is a new hub connecting your work across Atlassian. You can quickly navigate between your frequent spaces and apps, view recent work, get a feed of the latest status updates, and browse directories for teams, goals, and projects across your organization.
Teams in Atlassian represent the various groups of people you work with. Whether it’s your core team or a team made for a specific project, Atlassian teams can help you communicate better and easily track everyone’s work. Once you’ve created your team’s profile, you can @mention it in pages and comments, assign work in Jira, and more.
Goals help you to track and communicate the outcomes you and your teams are working towards. By staying close to your work Atlassian goals assist you in staying on track. You can link goals to Jira issues, embed in Confluence pages, and connect to Atlassian projects.
Projects help you communicate about the work you’re doing to stakeholders and dependent teams. By following a regular update schedule and automatically sending a weekly update digest, projects help you answer the what, why, who, and how of your teams’ work without needing to schedule yet another status meeting.
In addition to these, you also have a number of other features to help you organize your work and collaborate better with your team.
Status updates — Home is where you can find all the latest updates to goals and projects you follow in a single feed. New project updates are shared every Monday, while goal updates are shared on the 8th of each month.
Kudos — Everyone loves feeling appreciated. Take a minute to say “thank you” to your teammates by giving them a kudos.
Tags - Group goals and projects using a tag to see all their updates in one page, and share it to help your teams get up to speed faster. Read more about tags
Synced reporting lines from your Identity provider (e.g. Okta) - by syncing the manager attribute from your Identity Provider (IdP) you’ll be able to see your teammate's managers on their profile card, how they fit the company reporting lines on their profiles, and be able to filter projects and goals by their manager.
