Manage space roles

Users are assigned roles, and each has a list of permissions such as creating ideas, creating views, etc. There are three roles by default, but you can create custom roles.

Administrator (Creator) has access to all the features available in the space and can manage space settings and people. Admins on a Free plan can’t create custom roles.

Creator (Creator) can do everything in the space except use features requiring administrator-specific permissions. Creators on a Free plan can’t create custom roles.

Contributors can access the space in read-only mode and contribute using enabled features: creating ideas, adding comments, insights, votes, or reactions. Contributors on a Free plan can’t create custom roles.

  • In Open spaces, everyone on your Jira site is given the default creator role.

  • In Limited spaces, everyone on your Jira site is given the default contributor role.

  • In Private spaces, only Jira admins and people you add to the space have a role.

Add a new space role

1. To create a new role go to your space > (…) > Spaces Settings > Access.

2. Under Space roles select Manage space roles.

3. [新しいロールを作成]を選択し、オプションを選択して [ロールを作成] をクリックします。

Delete a space role

You can delete a role if you no longer need it in a team-managed space. For example, if you have two roles - lead and manager - that have the same permissions, you can delete one of these roles.

• You can’t delete the default Administrator, Contributor, or Creator roles that come with your space.

• Deleting a role in a team-managed space may impact:

• Deleting a role doesn’t remove people with that role from the space. Learn more about removing people.

1. From your space sidebar, select the project > (…) > Space Settings

2. Select Access > Manage roles.

3. Find the role you want to delete from the list and click .

投稿者にアイデアの作成を許可する

既定では、投稿者はアイデアを作成できません。投稿者がアイデアを作成するには、作成者がそのオプションを許可する必要があります。

手順

1. Open the needed Jira Product Discovery space.

2. Go to Space settings > Features > Create ideas > Allow contributors to create ideas.

3. 機能を有効化したら、上部のナビゲーション バーの [作成] ボタンをクリックすることで、投稿者が新しいアイデアを作成できます。投稿者に対して、アイデアの要約と説明を入力するようプロンプトが表示されます。ただし、次のセクションで説明するステップに従って、ユーザーに追加情報を要求できます。

アイデア フォームをカスタマイズする

新しいアイデアの作成時にユーザーが入力するフィールドを設定できます。アイデア フォームをカスタマイズすることで、必要な情報をすべて取り込めます。

手順

1. To customize an idea form, open the needed Jira Product Discovery space.

2. [ビュー] にある [+ ビューを作成] > [新しいリストを作成] の順にクリックします。リストに名前を付けたら、[フィールド] をクリックして、アイデア フォームに表示したいフィールドを選択します。

3. Go to Space settings > Features > Create ideas.

4. Under Select a view, select a newly created view from the dropdown list, and then check what fields have been added to the idea form in the Preview form. You can also use a default view or other views from the list as they reflect the views available in your space.

5. オプションで、すべてのフィールドを必須項目としてマークします。

6. [テンプレートを選択] で "説明" フィールドのテンプレートを選択するか、[+ テンプレートを作成] をクリックして、説明のカスタム テンプレートを作成します。

7. Additionally, select Preview in space to check how users will see the idea form.
