How to prepare for your migration

To make your migration as smooth as possible, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Review and update your Teams: Check that your Teams are up-to-date and accurately reflects how your organization works today.

  2. Clean up unused Teams: Delete any Teams you no longer need. This helps reduce clutter and makes the migration process easier.

    1. You can do this by going to the Teams Directory and deleting Teams that suggest they are unused such as zero team members.

  3. Get familiar with key resources: Read the FAQs and review the sections that relate to the Atlassian Apps your organization uses. This will help you understand what’s changing and what to expect.

  4. Join the community group: Connect with admins, ask questions, and stay up-to-date throughout the migration.
