Atlassian allows you to embed project and goal information into other products, helping you connect with external teams, share context for discussions, and create ad-hoc reports.
By simply copying and pasting most links to projects, goals, and tags in your browser and pasting them in a Jira issue description, comment, or in a Confluence page or comment.
It would be useful to reference your project/goal in conversation or content so that others can subscribe or get more context on your project and goal briefs. To do that, copy the link to the project or goal and paste it into another product. When done, it would look like this:
You can embed updates from projects and goals to create ad-hoc reports. To do that, copy and paste the link to a project or goal in another product. After doing that, select the embedded card and select Display as embed. When done, it would look like this:
This option is great for program/initiative/team reporting. It shows all the related projects and goals for a particular tag. To do that copy the link to a tag from a project and goal, and paste it into another product. Then select Display as embed.
In Trello you can paste a link on the front of a card to convert the whole card into a Smart card or reference projects and goals links within the card description or comments.
Select Preview from the card front. This shows you the latest project, goal or tags updates right from within Trello.
Just like Jira, Confluence, and Trello, pasting most of those links in Slack and MS Team will also display the corresponding embed. You can also subscribe to projects and goals to channels, and receive weekly reminders, and digests for projects and goals you are following.
