Use the Planio integration to forward Opsgenie alert activity to Planio as issues. Opsgenie creates new issues in a Planio project when an alert is created.
When an alert is created, closed, acknowledged, or assigned in Opsgenie, a Planio issue is seen in Planio.
Planio is an incoming integration. Setting it up involves the following steps:
Add a Planio integration in Opsgenie
Configure the integration in Planio
This integration is only available with Standard and Enterprise plans in Opsgenie, and Premium and Enterprise plans in Jira Service Management.
Adding the integration from your team dashboard will make your team the owner of the integration. This means Opsgenie will assign the alerts received through this integration to your team only. Follow the rest of the steps in this section to set up the integration.
To add a Planio integration in Opsgenie:
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Select Add integration.
Run a search and select “Planio”.
On the next screen, enter a name for the integration.
Optional: Select a team in Assignee team if you want a specific team to receive alerts from the integration.
Select Continue.
The integration is saved at this point.
In Planio, go to the account page and copy the API access key.
Paste the API access key into API access key.
Enter your Planio account subdomain in Subdomain.
Enter the ID of the Planio project in which Opsgenie should create issues in Project Id.
Select Turn on integration.
The rules you create for the integration will work only if you turn on the integration.
Go to the Administration settings in Planio.
Enable REST web service.
