Get started with Opsgenie as a user
Learn how to configure your profile, get notifications from Opsgenie and view on-call schedules.
Use Opsgenie’s Flock integration to forward Opsgenie alert activity to Flock. Users are notified when alerts are created, acknowledged, assigned, and closed without leaving Flock.
When an alert is created, closed, acknowledged or assigned in Opsgenie, information is seen in Flock.
This integration is only available with Standard and Enterprise plans in Opsgenie, and Premium and Enterprise plans in Jira Service Management.
Adding the integration from your team dashboard will make your team the owner of the integration. This means Opsgenie will assign the alerts received through this integration to your team only. Follow the rest of the steps in this section to set up the integration.
In Flock, choose Opsgenie on the Integrations page.
Select Install.
Select Add New Configuration.
Configure settings and select Generate URL.
Copy the URL for configuring the Opsgenie side.
Go to Settings > Integrations. Search for Flock and select Add.
Specify who is notified for Flock alerts using the Teams and Recipients fields. Auto-complete suggestions are provided as you type.
Paste the URL that you obtained from Flock.
Select Save Integration.
