Manage your HRIS connector
Syncing with your HRIS (Human Resource Information System) connector is how you get position, worker, and organization data into Talent. You might want to stop syncing, change the connector, fix errors, delete data, or need to know what to do if your connector has been uninstalled in Atlassian administration by your organization admin.
Before you begin
You must be an app or site admin to make changes in Talent administration
Some of these actions require you to be an organization admin and to already have a connector installed in Atlassian administration
Stop syncing from a connector
You can stop syncing from any connector you no longer wish to pull in data from.
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner to open Talent administration.
Select Talent admin settings > Position and worker data. The Workday connectors that have already been set up by your organization admins are shown on this page, and their status of being synced or not synced is also shown.
Select Stop syncing.
The last synced data from this connector will remain in Talent unless deleted. This means the data may become stale, and you should consider getting a new connector installed and syncing from the new one.
Change your connector
To start syncing from a new connector, you need to stop syncing from the one you’re currently using and then follow the steps outlined in Sync data from Workday to Talent.
Delete all connector data
If you want to clear out all the data in your Talent app, you can delete all the data from a connector you’ve synced from. First, you have to stop syncing from the connector before you can delete it’s data.
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner to open Talent administration.
Select Talent admin settings > Position and worker data. The Workday connectors that have already been set up by your organization admins are shown on this page, and their status of being synced or not synced is also shown.
Select Stop syncing.
Select Delete all data from the connector’s More actions menu ().
Data deletion may take some time. You can sync the data again from this connector as long as the connector hasn’t been uninstalled from Atlassian administration.
Uninstalled connectors
When a connector you’re syncing from in Talent is uninstalled by your organization admin in Atlassian administration, it will stop syncing the data.
The data from this connector remains in Talent until you delete it via More actions ().
