Understand Teams feature limitations in a hybrid state
Get context surrounding how this will impact Teams features in your organization
Existing Team features (Teams in Jira, Team profiles, search, etc.) will continue to function as expected. However, while we support this configuration, you will encounter limitations with new features.
New features will only be available on one site, which we automatically select based on usage analytics (e.g., the site where the team is most active). You can view the automatically selected site and update the site for each team by following these instructions to assign teams to a site.
Note on user visibility: Because new features are tied to one site, team members not already on that site will be added to its user base by default. These users will not require additional licenses and will not have permissions by default, but they will be visible in the directory and Administration Hub, and can be @mentioned.
