Find the information you need with filters

Filter items in your list, calendar, and timeline view. Filtering helps you focus on specific details in your project and find important information without having to scroll through your entire team's work. You can check high-priority tasks to see that nothing is blocked or see individual team members' workloads at a glance.

All users can use the filter in these views.

Filter items in your list, calendar, or timeline view

Filter the items you’re searching for by selecting Filter drop-down at the top-right of the list, calendar, or timeline view.

In Quick filters, you can apply multiple filters by:

  • Assigned to me

  • Due this week

  • Done items

alt="Selecting which fields to filter by in Quick filters."

In More filters, you can apply the following:

  • Assignee

  • Issue type

  • Priority

  • Reporter

  • Status

alt="Selecting which fields to filter by in More filters."

Clear filters

To clear your Quick filters:

  1. Select the Filter drop-down at the top-right in whichever view you’re in.

  2. Select Clear filters.

To clear More filters:

  1. Select the Filter drop-down at the top-right in whichever view you’re in.

  2. Select Clear.

The list, calendar, or timeline reverts to the default view, showing all items.

Switch between views

Your filter choices won't save when switching between views. The filters you have applied do not persist across different views. For example, when you switch from List to Timeline. You’ll need to filter for each view you choose to use.

The filters that are applied in Quick filters will not affect More filters. There is no relation between the two, except that they are both filter functions for that view.
