Modify columns on a board

Team-managed projects

To modify* columns on a board within a team-managed project, including renaming, moving, setting a column limit, adding, and deleting columns:

• Select ••• (more) at the top of a column. This will reveal column options, including rename, move, set column limit, and delete.

To add columns to a board in a team-managed project:

• Select ••• (more) at the top of the board, next to (filter). This will reveal board options, including add new column.

Company-managed projects

To modify* columns on a board in a company-managed project, go to Jira Cloud for web in an internet browser. Then, on your company-managed project’s board, go to ••• (more) > Board settings > Columns.

*Requires admin permissions.
