Migrate Statuspage to use Atlassian accounts
Learn everything you need to know to migrate you and your team to Atlassian accounts.
Note: Pingdom will be removing their legacy API on December 20th, 2020. Users can currently use the legacy API as a workaround but eventually, this will not be supported. You can find the legacy API here to generate a legacy API key to configure this integration.
The instructions below have been updated so Pingdom metrics can be successfully added with their new API.
You will need to link Pingdom as a third-party data source before you can add a Pingdom metric to your page.
Click Integrations from the left side menu.
Select The Pingdom API.
Click Add API token.
Enter a name for your token and choose Read access for the access level of your token.
Click Generate token.
Copy the API token.
You will see your API token listed on The Pingdom API page. You can find the legacy API here to generate a legacy API key to configure this integration until December, 2020.
Click Your page in the left side menu, then select System metrics.
Click the Third-party data sources tab.
Find Pingdom in the list and click Link account.
Enter the email you use to log in to Pingdom.
Paste the API token you copied from Pingdom into the API token field.
If you're on Pingdom's enterprise plan that allows for subaccount delegation, we'll need to know the email of the owner account as well. When entering your email, you'll need to use the format below, and continue to use the subaccount password as normal.
1
subaccount@email.com->owner@email.com
We currently only support the uptime and response time checks from Pingdom.
Click Your page in the left side menu, then select System metrics.
Click Add a metric.
Select Pingdom from the dropdown along with the appropriate check name and metric type.
Enter a display name and display suffix.
Click Add metric.
Adding the new metric may take a couple of minutes.
Click Your page in the left side menu, then select System metrics.
Click the Advanced options tab.
Edit the metric and its attributes such as suffix, min and max values for the y-axis, and the metric description. By default, your metric is hidden and will not show up on your status page.
Click Update Metrics display when you're satisfied with the changes to make them visible to your page viewers.
Check out your page to see your new metric.
