All users with access to the project can:
Filter their issues
Search on the board
Select Filter to filter issues on your board. Read more about how to use filters
Use keywords from your issue summary to search in the board view. Enter the keyword and all issues containing those keywords will be shown. You can also search by entering the whole issue key.
There are two ways you can expand or collapse columns on your board. In the column you’d like to expand or collapse, select the expand or collapse icon next to the column heading.
Another way you can expand or collapse columns on your board is to:
Select More at the top right of your board view.
Select Expand all columns or Collapse all columns.
You can customize the cards shown on your board to see the information that’s most important to you. You can choose to see as much or as little information on the cards of your issues on the board.
You can customize the board cards to see the following fields, and any other custom fields you’ve set up for your project:
Key
Type
Assignee
Reporter
Due date
Start date
Updated (last updated)
Subtasks (if your project has subtasks as a default issue type)
Priority
Labels
Created
Confluence pages (if your license includes Confluence)
Linked issues (currently in beta)
Category (new projects only)
To adjust what information you view for the cards on the board, you can:
Select More at the top-right of your screen in the board view
Select Customize cards
Choose what fields you’d like to be visible on your cards by selecting or deselecting the checkbox to the left of the field name. The fields of the cards will automatically adjust on your board.
The custom fields available are:
Short text
Date picker
Date time picker
Single select
Select List (multiple choices)
Number
People field (team-managed project only)
Single user picker (company-managed project only)
Multi user picker (company-managed project only)
For company-managed projects, only Jira admins can add custom fields. Learn more about creating custom fields for your company-managed project. These are usually fields that your Jira admin will need to configure and enable in your Jira settings. Learn more about how to configure a custom field
