Accessing Rovo Chat

The Rovo Chat app is easily accessible within Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, and Bitbucket Cloud, providing you with the assistance you need without disrupting your workflow.

Ask Rovo chat button

To open Rovo Chat, select Ask Rovo from the top navigation bar, near your profile icon or avatar. Rovo Chat will open on the side of your screen.

 

Other ways to access Rovo Chat include:

  1. Shortcut commands: Type /ai or /rovo in the Atlassian app you’re working in and select Ask Rovo

  2. Rovo browser extension: You can use the Atlassian Rovo browser extension to access the Chat sidebar from your browser and use it alongside any webpage you’re on.

Accessing your chat history

Select the hamburger icon in the top-left of the Rovo Chat window to open the Menu. Your prior Chats are listed at the bottom.

Selecting a prior chat allows you to switch the current chat back to that conversation, continuing from where you left off. Your chats are private and only visible to you.

Rovo Chat stores your messages and the answers you receive for 30 days, so that you can retrieve your conversation history.

From the More actions () menu on each of your chats, you can:

  • Rename your chat

  • Delete a chat
