重点分野の階層を設定して管理する
Before any focus areas can be created, an app admin must determine the number of levels in the focus area hierarchy and label the types that sit at each level. You can have as many as 10 levels and as few as one.
重点分野を作成した後も階層を変更できますが、階層を変更すると、既存の重点分野間の関係に影響が生じる可能性があります。
Focus area types
重点分野の作成時には、タイプが割り当てられます。タイプは階層内のレベルに対応し、レベルによって重点分野に親重点分野とサブ重点分野のどちらを含めることができるかが決まります。これらの関係により、分野間のつながりが明確になり、データをロールアップできるようになるため、リーダーは、各自が重要視している戦略的優先事項に影響を及ぼすあらゆるディメンションについてのインサイトを得ることができます。

A focus area isn't required to have a parent, but if it does, it can only have one. That area's type must be above it in the hierarchy, but it doesn't have to be the type immediately above it.
A focus area isn't required to have a sub-focus area, but if it does, it can have many. The types of those areas must be below it in the hierarchy, but it doesn't have to be the type immediately below it.
階層の例
Since no two companies run their business the same way, the first time an app admin logs into Focus, the Types page is blank. Seeing an example can help this setup feel less daunting.
この重点分野階層の例には、次の 3 つのレベルがあります。

Choose the fields a type uses
When making several changes at a time, you may need to save before making more as many changes rely on another to be saved first. A (lock) icon next to a focus area type indicates that you'll need to save.
タイプとレベルを作成する
To create a focus area level and give the type a name:
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner, then select Focus settings.
From the left navigation, select Types.
Select Create type. A new level is added to the hierarchy at the bottom.

Repeat steps 3 to 5 until you have the right number of levels in your hierarchy.

To rename a type:

To reorder without existing focus areas:
You can reorder the types using drag and drop or by moving a type up and down using the More actions (•••) menu.
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner, then select Focus settings.
From the left navigation, select Types.
Select the card using your pointer and drag and drop it to the new level in the hierarchy.
If you aren't using an input device like a mouse or trackpad, select More actions (•••) for the type you want to move, then select Move up or Move down.
Select Save and confirm, then select Confirm in the confirmation message.

To reorder with existing focus areas:
Reordering types doesn't impact the goals, work, and positions connected to the focus areas whose types are being moved.
重点分野同士の関係は、次のルールに基づいて変更される可能性があります。
Focus areas whose type is at the top of the hierarchy can't have a parent focus area. If this happens when reordering, the parent focus area will be unlinked.
Focus areas whose type is at the bottom of the hierarchy can't have sub-focus areas. If this happens when reordering, the sub-focus areas will be unlinked.
A focus area can't have the same type as its parent focus area or its sub-focus area. If this happens when reordering, the parent or sub-focus areas will be unlinked.

To delete with existing focus areas:
タイプとそのレベルを削除しても、タイプを削除する重点分野に関連するゴール、作業、役職には影響しません。

Parent focus areas will be unlinked if a focus area's new type is at the top level.
Sub-focus areas will be unlinked if a focus area's new type is at the bottom level.

From the left navigation, select Types.
Select More actions (•••) for the type you want to trash, then select Delete. The type and its level disappear.
Select Save and confirm, then select Confirm in the confirmation message.

To view existing focus areas:
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner, then select Focus settings.
From the left navigation, select Types.
Select More actions (•••) for the type, then select View existing focus areas.
そのタイプが現在割り当てられている重点分野を確認して、[閉じる] を選択します。
If no focus areas have been created with a certain type, the number in the badge will be 0.
Choose the fields a type uses
Each focus area type can use its own set of fields. On each type, you can add or remove the Status and Health fields and any custom fields. For example, a top-level type that holds long-running themes might not need a status.
To hide the Status or Health field on every type at once, use the Fields page instead.
To choose the fields a type uses:
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner, then select Focus settings.
From the left navigation, select Types.
Next to the type, select More actions (•••), then select Edit. The Edit type panel opens.
Next to the list of fields, select the Edit fields icon.
Make your changes:
To add a field, select Add, then search for and select the field.
To remove a field, select More actions (•••) next to it, then select Remove.
Select Save changes. The change applies right away.
When a type doesn't use a field, focus areas of that type show a no-entry icon in that field, such as in the focus area directory.
