View labor costs

You can view labor costs by position attributes and focus areas in multiple locations of Talent. Labor costs are calculated using labor rates set inside of Talent admin settings.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

• Focus and Talent enabled in your organization

• Created focus areas in Focus

• Imported positions into Talent and allocated them to focus areas

• Set up labor rates for Talent and Focus

Labor costs by focus area

You can view labor costs broken down by focus area:

1. From the Positions page, select the By focus area tab to view the total cost, filled cost, and not filled cost values for each focus area.

You can also view labor cost values for a specific focus area:

1. Select a focus area name to view its page,

2. Select the Summary tab.

3. Select the Cost view option in the upper-right, the data visualizations on the page will display labor costs broken down by various attributes, including tenure distribution, country, timezone, job level, and role.

Labor costs by reporting line

You can view labor costs broken down by focus area and other attributes for positions that have direct reports.

1. From the Positions page, select the position you want to view.

2. Select the Summary tab.

3. Select the Cost view option in the upper-right. The data visualizations on the page will display labor costs broken down by various attributes, including tenure distribution, country, timezone, job level, and role.
