Generate cloud readiness insights
We’ll start collecting data and generating cloud readiness insights for your Data Center right after you connect to it, provided that you completed all the prerequisites.

Before you begin
Before you get started:
If you’re unable to connect to your Data Center instance, you can also collect and upload your data manually
Cloud readiness insights are available for Jira and Confluence Data Center
Insight status
After you connect to your Data Center instance, we’ll start collecting the data, and display the results.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Not started | The data collection hasn’t started, which usually means the connection isn’t complete. |
In progress | The data collection is in progress. The initial data collection might take up to a few hours to complete. It’s not updated automatically later on, you’ll need to re-assess. |
Up to date | The data and insights are up to date. |
Has errors | There are problems with collecting the data, which usually means that you haven’t completed all prerequisites. |
No data | The data has been deleted. |
View generated insights and recommendations
Once the data has been collected, you can view insights and recommendations.
To view insights and recommendations:
In the Apps tab of Portfolio insights, select your Data Center instance.
In the right-hand panel, select View product details. You’ll go into the instance view.
For Jira, select the Cloud readiness tab to view your insights. For Confluence, you’ll already see them as there are no additional tabs.
