How does the version affect migration time?

Earlier versions are lacking features. We release improvements across different areas of the migration assistant on a regular basis, including fixes that affect the migration speed and reliability. We recommend updating the migration assistant to the latest version before every migration.

Update the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant

To update the assistant:

1. In Confluence Data Center, go to Administration > Manage apps.

2. Select Manage apps.

3. Search for Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant.

4. Select Update.

Open the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant

Once updated, you can access the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant by following these steps:

1. In Confluence Data Center, go to Administration > Migration Assistant.
