Manage releases

What is a release?

Releases represent points in time for your project. They can be used to schedule how features are rolled out to your customers, or as a way to organize work that has been completed for the project. Each release is called a version. (Note: Only project admins can create versions.)

How to create and edit a version

To create versions* and manage releases within a project:

  1. Select your project.

  2. Select the Releases project tab.

  3. Select + Create version to create a new version*.

  4. Select a version to view its details. Then select ••• at the top of the details panel to edit the version, such as its release date.

*Admin permission is required to create versions
