Before you get started, Rovo must be enabled for your Jira space. AI features must not be disabled.
How AI summarizes your work
Your overview is dynamically generated and automatically refreshed to reflect the current state of your work world. From Home, the Recap shows your top three focus areas from the day prior. Suggestions for today provides you with a triaged list of three tasks that may require your attention.
Work is triaged by assumed priority: Jira work items are prioritized over Confluence tasks, and time-pressing work items with overdue or due-soon end dates will appear higher in your suggested work summary.
The items in your recap won’t clear as you work through them. To refresh your suggestions for the day, close the app and revisit Home. Keep in mind: the items that appear in your summary are not a full list of your work, which you can still review in the relevant space.

Daily work summaries are autogenerated by AI and appear on the Home screen of your Jira mobile app.
To view your overview:
Select Home on your mobile device.
Expand Today’s overview at the top of your home screen.
Select See more to expand the summary.
View your Recap and Suggestions for today.
Each item includes a summary that highlights the work you completed or the possible action you could take. For example, the summary may note that you completed a task or added context to a work item, and a suggested action might be to join the discussion on a highly engaged work item.
