Open the Jira app directly from external links

To go directly to the Jira mobile app via an external deep link in an email or message (rather than viewing Jira’s web version within a browser), you need to adjust your device’s settings:

System settings

1. Go to your device’s system settings.

2. Select Apps.

3. Select Jira.

4. This step may differ depending on your device:

   • Select Open by default
     or
     Select Set as default

5. This step may differ depending on your device:

   • Select Open supported links > In this app
     or
     Select Go to supported URLs > In this app

Slack

1. Open Slack on your Android mobile device.

2. Select You in the bottom navigation bar.

3. Select Preferences.

4. Go to the Advanced section.

5. Disable Open web pages in app.
