Download and configure the Jira Cloud app for Android

Keep work moving forward from anywhere with the Jira Cloud app for Android. It’s powerful and palm-sized.

Download, set up/sign in, and invite the team.

1. Download Jira Cloud for Android from Google Play.

2. Open the app on your Android device and follow the prompts to sign up for an account, or log into an existing account.

If you’re signing up for a new account:

1. Follow the steps to verify your email address

2. Follow the steps to name your new Jira site

3. You'll be automatically taken to a new project. Name your project, and select a project template.

4. Invite your teammates to join the project. Select your account avatar, then select Invite people to the site.

5. Begin creating issues (or work with issues and requests in service management projects). Depending on the type of project template you’ve selected, there are several ways to create an issue:

   • Select + at the top of the Home screen

   • Select + Create at the bottom of a column on your board

   • Select + Create at the bottom of your backlog, or via the backlog’s icon (the ‘more’ icon, a vertical ellipses).

   • Select + at the top of the Issues screen.
