The Public Links toggle is not available when sharing a page

Summary

When looking to share a page externally, the toggle for the "Public Links" configuration is not available under the "Share" window.

• As an administrator, make sure that the Public links configuration is enabled at Confluence's administration.

• Check if the page has any sort of edit restrictions.

Cause

The page has its editing restricted. In scenarios like this one, only the users who have the edit rights will be able to change the Public Links configuration.

Change the edit restrictions of the page:

• Ask an administrator to change the restrictions;

• Ask one of the users with edit rights to change it (assuming that they have permission to change it);

• Remove the restrictions.
