Edit or update an app
Create an app without writing any code by describing your requirements in plain language to Rovo in Studio. Read more: Create an app in Studio
Think of Rovo chat in Studio as the space to tinker with your app. You can Ask Rovo to tweak, troubleshoot, publish, or fix bugs directly in the chat.
Iterate on your app
You can iterate on your app after you’ve installed it, or while you’re still building it.
To edit an app:
From Studio, navigate to Apps in the sidebar.
Select the relevant app.
From the app screen, select Edit app.
This takes you back to where you left off in the Rovo chat so you can continue iterating on your app.
If you want a comprehensive view of your app, particularly once it’s published, navigate to the Developer console.
You’ll find information relating to your app’s build, performance, and storage. If you created the app, you will also be able to manage Contributors, Distribution (who the app is shared with), Permissions, and Settings.
Update your app’s name or avatar
When an app is first built, it’s given a placeholder name and avatar. You can change this anytime, but try locking in an “identity” before you install your app to avoid confusion.
To update an app’s details:
From Studio, navigate to Apps in the sidebar.
Select the app that you’re ready to publish.
From the app screen, open the link to Developer console ()
Navigate to Manage, then Settings.
Edit the Name of your app, or change the avatar.
When you’re done, select Save changes.
If you’re an administrator, you can manage app tasks like updating, uninstalling, troubleshooting, and configuring apps in the Connected apps page. Read more: Manage an installed app
