Linked issues not visible after linking

Linked issues are not visible after linking them successfully.
Environment
Jira Cloud: Company-managed projects
Cause
The Linked issues field is set to Hidden in theField Configuration associated with the project.
Solution
The Linked issue field should not be hidden in the field configuration to be able to view the Linked issues on the issue view screen. A Jira administrator will need to edit the Field Configuration associated with the project and set the Linked issues field to Show. See also documentation in Specify field behavior.
Ensure that the Linked issues field is added to the Screens associated with the project to be able to link issues with one another.
