Assignee list pop-up is not appearing for sub-tasks when viewing from the Parent tasks in Jira

Summary

When we click on user icon of "Assignee" for a sub-task, from the Parent task, user does not see assignee list pop-up. Refer below attachment on how this pop-up should look like.

Diagnosis

Please verify the below

• Affected user should have both Assign issue and Edit issue permission in order to see the Assignee list pop-up in the Issue view.

• 'Assignee' field should be a part of Edit screen, in order to see this pop-up in the Issue view.

Solution

Make sure that the 'Assignee' field is part of Edit screen and the affected user has been granted with both Assign issue and Edit issue project permissions.
