Use Agent2Agent connections
Atlassian Rovo supports the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, so compatible third-party AI agents and custom agents can securely connect to Rovo and act on your behalf across Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian apps. When you use A2A, Rovo uses your existing Atlassian permissions and organization settings.
A2A third-party AI agents can act on connected apps (such as Jira and Confluence) with your existing permissions.
A2A uses OAuth 2.1 and never bypasses your organization's admin controls, and your organization admin must enable it before you can get started. If your organization admin hasn’t already enabled A2A connections they can learn how to: Manage Agent2Agent connections
