What are the onboarding experiences for Confluence Cloud users

Summary

When new users join Confluence Cloud, as part of the onboarding, the user will experience two scenarios:

• The user will be prompted to watch an existing space.

  

• The user will be prompted to create a new space.

  

Cause

This difference is triggered depending on the permissions for the user joining. If the user has access to a space via its permissions, the user will be prompted to select one of the spaces with permission to watch. Otherwise, if the user does not have access to any existing spaces, the user will be prompted to create a new space in order to have content to interact with.
