Guide to Register for a License After 30 Days of Usage

Platform Notice: Data Center Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the Data Center platform.

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center KBs for non-Data-Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Support for Server* products ended on February 15th 2024. Solution

After 30 days of using SourceTree, the app will prompt users to register for a license (which is still free)

Method #1

Steps:

1. In SourceTree, go to File > Registration:

2. Click on "Register Now - Free!" and then register your email address.

Method #2

Steps:

1. Sign up to this link: https://id.atlassian.com/signup?application=mac&continue=https://my.atlassian.com/license/sourcetree

2. Register and download the license.

3. Now go into SourceTree, go to File > Registration > Import License...

4. Import your license
