No Cloud ID found for this team/enterprise error when using Rovo for Slack

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian apps on the cloud platform.

Summary

After integrating the Atlassian Rovo app in Slack and interacting with the Rovo app, there’s an error that says:

“No Cloud ID found for this team/enterprise. Please contact your admin.”

This means that during the onboarding setup integration, the cloud ID wasn’t setup, or wasn't or added correctly.

Steps to reproduce/confirm:

  1. In the left navigation, find Apps.

  2. Select Manage > Browse Apps.

  3. Search for Atlassian Rovo and select it.

  4. Start a New chat

  5. Interact with the Rovo app.

Solution

Please note that Slack admin and Atlassian org admin may not be the same user. If this is the case, both users need to work together to follow the steps below.

  1. Visit https://rovo-integrations.atlassian.com/slack/onboard/welcome to reconfigure the integration by following the onboarding steps for the Rovo app in Slack.

  2. The Slack admin follows the onboarding steps, Get Started and Install app. This will reinstall the Atlassian Rovo app in Slack.

  3. As the Slack admin proceeds to the Add Site step, they can add the Atlassian site here and specify the Bot account to be used for the integration.

    • If the Slack admin is different from the Atlassian organization admin, the Slack admin must share the URL of this page with the Atlassian organization admin to proceed with the steps.

  4. The Atlassian org admin completes the cloud site mapping and finalizes the setup.

  5. Once you see the “successful configuration” message, you can test the Rovo app in Slack to verify if this has resolved the issue.
