Disable Rovo Smart Link connectors and banners in Atlassian Cloud
Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian apps on the cloud platform.
Summary
Organization administrators may find that disabling third-party connectors (like Slack, Google Drive, etc.) within the Atlassian Admin Hub does not automatically remove the "Smart Link" banners or search results within Atlassian Rovo. Currently, these specific UI elements and connector types may require backend intervention by Atlassian Support to be fully disabled.
Diagnosis
You navigated to Admin Hub > Settings > Rovo > Connectors and disabled specific third-party connectors.
Despite disabling them, users still see active 3P connections prompting them to connect these services under Rovo Chat or under Rovo Settings and memory > Apps.
Third-party content continues to appear in Rovo search results or Smart Link previews.
Cause
Certain "Smart Link" connector features and OAuth banners are managed via backend flags that are not currently exposed to the standard Admin Hub UI for self-service disabling.
Solution
If you wish to completely opt-out of Rovo Smart Link connectors and remove the associated banners for your organization, please raise a Atlassian Support Request with the following information:
Cloud ID or Site URL where the connectors should be disabled.
A specific list of connectors you wish to disable (e.g., Slack, Google Drive, GitHub) or a request to disable all third-party Smart Link banners.
