Diagnosis

Environment

  • Firefox 27 and above. You can verify your browser version by following the steps below:

    1. Copy the line under the heading 'Environment' in the error message. This line is the User agent string.

    2. Go to the website User Agent String.Com and paste the line into the text box.

    3. Click on 'Analyse' and view what browser version you are currently using.

  • Has Poster as an add-on in Firefox.

Cause

The Firefox add-on Poster was last updated on June 2011 and is only compatible with versions 1.5 - 26.*. As such, the incompatibility of the add-on plugin with the newer versions of Firefox such as the latest Firefox 55 (as of 8th September 2017) may be the cause of the error being shown.

Solution

Resolution

The recommended step would be to disable or remove the Poster add-on from the Firefox browser.
