User is unable to access the calendar view on the Jira Cloud project sidebar

Summary

After enabling the Calendar feature on project settings, some users can't access it on the project sidebar.

Solution

To view the Calendar view, you need to enable the Calendar under the Feature section and the project must be associated with the board. It's also required that the users have access to the board.

  1. From your project’s sidebar, go to Project Settings > Features.

  2. Toggle Calendar on.

If the project is not associated with the board and the user doesn't have board access, the user cannot see the Calendar on the project's left panel.
