Unexplained changes in Two dimensional filter statistics gadgets for None and Irrelevant values

Summary
You see unidentifiable values in Two dimensional filter statistics gadget, such as None and Irrelevant. The results number of these values may have drastically changed without any explanation. Apart from that, clicking on some of the hyperlinks in the gadget results will lead to the search page with different number of results.
Example: Clicking on 6 highlighted in the red box leads to issue navigator with 0 results

Diagnosis
You have recently made changes (or might not be aware of changes) to custom field context configurations: Configuring custom field contexts
Cause
Changes were made to the custom field context configurations by adding/removing certain projects from it. A re-index was not performed after these changes. This causes the search results and gadgets to be returning stale results.
Some additional information.
'None' will be used when the custom field of applicable issues doesn't have any value
Eg. the field is applicable for BB-1 but BB-1 does not have any values for this field
'Irrelevant' will be used for issues returned by the filter query but the custom field is not applicable to
Eg. the field is not applicable for project BB but the filter used by your gadget returns issues from project BB
Solution
Run a re-indexing to update all indexes: Search indexing.
