Unable to view child issues under an Epic when using Jira Software Roadmaps

Cause
After creating a new Kanban board, we need to make sure to enable the Child level issue schedule.
Solution
The Child-level issue schedule is not updated in the board settings. This should be enabled by going through Board settings > Roadmap.
The feature is not enabled by default on each project, but it’s easy to turn on (if you have project permissions). Please note that the roadmap uses the fields "Start date" and "Due date" to reflect the timeline bar schedule.
