Unable to edit filter subscription with jira-administrator group only

Problem

When the user tried to edit Subscriptions , they will get logged out with this error :

The following appears in the XXXXXXXXXXX.log

Cause

The affected user needs to be assosciated with the JIRA Users global permission in order to edit their subscriptions

Resolution

  1. Go to Users page

  2. Locate the affected username

  3. Click on Groups under Operations

  4. Add the jira-users group
