'Top of backlog' and 'Bottom of Swimlane' option is missing from Kanban backlog

Summary
The 'Top of backlog' and 'Bottom of Swimlane' option is missing from the Kanban backlog.
Environment
JIRA Software 8.20.21
Diagnosis
Check the Kanban board rank is not disabled via board saved filter where the filter does not have the "ORDER BY RANK ASC/DESC" JQL query or the issue rank is disabled.
Navigate to the Board > General and check the rank if its disabled like below:
Cause
When rank is disabled in the Kanban board, the 'Top of backlog' and 'Bottom of Swimlane' options will be disabled or hidden.
Solution
Add the Rank to see the options by referring to the steps here.
